You can aim a tiny bit to the right to leave no gap at all for the Ts to try and peek through, but I recommend doing it like in the video or even a tiny bit more to the left so the Ts feel inclined to try and find a gap on their left.

Since they are much much closer to the smoke and there's no proning in this game, you'll have a much easier time spotting them.
